Summary:
The topic of the XXXVII International Congress was “Community Education and Social Promotion“.
Objective:
In the convocation (FIFYA 194) the following objective was stated: to define the conception, strategies and lines of action of Community Social Promotion in Fe y Alegría.
The Congress:
It was used a method that combined the study and discussion, in all countries, of the Initial Working Document (Annex to FIFYA 194), and the elaboration of contributions supported by the guide of questions it has. The contributions from the countries, resulting from this stage, were then integrated by the Commission appointed for the task, composed by María Fernanda Sostres, Frankelly Martínez and Luis Herrera, with the support of the Executive Secretariat and the advice of the Federation’s Board of Directors. The Basic Document that was worked on at the Congress was then produced.
